Popping/buzzing sound coming from sub???Help!

plugging the RCA in and out while the cd player is on can blow them

i had the same problem with my sounstream amp. question does anything change if you plug the rcas in at the amp then twist and push the rcas while music volume is all the way down does anything happen?. i fix my issue by opening up my amp and looking at where the rcas connected to the board. i saw the solder was broken free . soldered it up and never had a problem again.
