wait i didnt say that. I said you need atleast 167amps (200amp fuse) fused on the cable from the battery to the amp. As for blinking, try the big3 upgrade and see how that goes. You may find even after that you might want to consider running a 2nd batter just for your amp. You may not have to but you might. Im runing about 1700watts and decided I needed a 2nd battery in the trunk to power my amps.Blinking? shit i can ride my high beams now and if i crank the bass it goes pitch dark. Your saying i need atleast a 167 amp alt then? (if i run 0 guage im talking... big 3, back to the amp, with the fuse in it...to dist block) I dont need another battery do i? If i got one would it solve the blinking? Or is there another cure?
Thanks for all of the help... sorry if im overquestioning. I just love to learn before i **** up my good stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
EDIT: if i got a 200 amp alt is it overkill? Is it possible to be overkill? (with a alt made for my car...not some 22v shit)
LOL I cant say much Im running my PA P2250D on 4ga right now til this weekend when i rip out my old carpet, then i will run the 1/0 to the trunk.i think the guy's amp went up in smoke...cuz he was trying to run a 2500 with 6 gauge wire..better the amp the car.
