It would look a lot better with the 4-5" lift, 33's with the 20" rims. You could use it all year long and wouldn't have to worry about anything like swapping rims, tires, getting stuck, etc. Would be a lot nicer in the snow too. The lift won't effect your gas mileage, big rims and tires will, whether it's lifted or not. 33's are a smaller size tire and shouldn't effect your gas mileage too much though.

I got an idea....do w/e the hell you want to the vehicle....its yours..... do what you like, not what everyone on ca.com say
hooray for opinions! non-retarded ones, that is.

Injected, i've been doing a lot of spying on that truck you just posted pictures of lol. Thats a 6" with 35's, so i'de go slightly smaller then that.

Can always go with the 6" , 35's, and just regear back to stock ratio if ya wanted. Then no gas mileage loss. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i wouldnt ask ca.com for advice on some things.
this is defntly one.
the only point I was making is that its what he is going to like....bc depending what you are into, any of the three will be a good fit....I would definately take the plastic panels off for paint....

then raise is 3-4in and put some 20s on it with some all terrain tires....

sorry it took so long for the serious answer:p:

i cant seem to find a picture of one without the cladding on it, but trust me, it doesnt look like what you think it would.

I have seen a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the plastic sanded and painted, and it looked pretty good
the cladding will (hopefully) be either sprayed with gatorback or line-X in the near future and painted. I just need to get a painting quote and decide if im going to do it this summer or wait a while. Not many shops will paint cladding due to warranty reasons and chipping //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I think you can get line-x in different colors now can't ya?

yup, basic colors though.

either way, the truck is going white or black hehe

and as for doing it myself, i dont think i'll have that kind of time/space in my condo w hile at school. caraudio is easy and doesnt take up space. but painting in a 2 car garage full of shit is hard heh.

I think it would look good black, I never liked light colors for some reason lol

Lift it, bigger mud tires. Will look sweet.

Next month I will be doing a 5" lift and upgrading from 29.5"(245/70R16) all terrain tires to 33"(285/75R16) mud terrian tires on my truck, and it will look sweet. I will also be gearing it to get back the low end acceleration and gas mileage.

A lift wont affect gas mileage much if at all. Larger tires definetly will. One thing to think about, larger tires need calibration so your speedo and odo wont be off. Without that, the odo will say you have gone less miles then you actually have, looking like you got even worse gas mileage. And your speed will be off. If your speed says 60MPH, you could be going 64+.

Here is a little calculator so you can see how much your speedo will be off:

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Just put in your tire size now and what tire size you will be getting and you can see what the difference is.
