I'll (most likely) be doing some exterior modification to my truck this summer, and i just want to get some opinions!

I've owned lifted vehicles before, and loved em. On the other hand, i've been thinking about getting some bigger rims. and on the other hand of the other hand, my truck doesnt look too bad as it is (not to gaudy, but not too plain either)

Theres ups and downs of both situations. If i lift, i'll have to deal with a little worse gas mileage. I wouldnt go too much bigger. maybe 4-5" lift with 33's, and i'll keep the rims. Here at college, i can ussually get a full tank of gas to last me 3 weeks or so.

Bigger rims will still effect gas mileage, but not as much as a lift (I think). Yet, theres a good 4 months of straight snow here at college, where i spend practically all of my time when im in state. sssooo, saying that i take the rims off during winter, i'll only be driving on them probably 4-5 months out of the year (im out of state over summer without my truck)

then, theres always leaving it the way it is and letting car audio eat more of my wallet......

the mods you dont see in this picture are performance exhaust, performance air intake, bug deflector, window rain guards, and a ski/snowboard rack. Ill try to find more pics.

Leave your opinions!

can i say take the plastic off the sides and get a paintjob?
no, the plastic is not coming off, it looks like a$$ underneath.

but a paintjob is in the works. Im going to paint the whole truck (cladding included) either cadillac pearl white, or black. The issue is i need to wait for a good time slot because the cladding is picky with paint, and will take quite a bit of time and care for it to set right.

the plastic looks like ***, lol. cheap to replace though.... much better than some body work i guess.
Rims and flats.
yeah i didnt like it too much at first, but it definately grew on me. Especially with how much they salt/gravel/de-ice the roads here. Plus, you'll never see a door-ding on my truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

when it does get painted, they make this stuff called gatorback, which is a sort of layering paint for plastic. Right now they only have standard grey and black though. Im hoping they will come out with colors in the near future.

Are all the windows tinted? Hard to tell if the fronts are. If not, do that.
Does look like they could use some bigger rims.

Then again, it looks pretty good the way it sits.

I say do moar Audio's!
just the stock tint. Tint will come eventually, but im not sure when (same goes for the paintjob).

I dont think bug deflectors really count as car mods. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
changes the appearance quite a bit, so i just thought i would inform people //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

definately not a spectacular mod though. I think i spent 80 bucks for a deflector and all the rain guards //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
