Hello Guys & Girls

I was wondering if anyone has seen used or has any opinion at all on the Polk Amps?

I was looking into these because the I am looking to match my Amps for a clean install, but want to have good clean power at the same time. The price does not seem to bad at $400 for the 4 channel, and $400 for the monoblock.

I would just like some opinion or other suggestions please.

Thanks

I also have a Cadence A7hc if any one is interested.

i have the c400.4

its a clean *** amp.... very clean sound and amazing crossover settings..

build quality A+++

and is very pretty!

check my gallery to see the interior.

for 400 bucks a pop you could be getting much better amps, how much power do you need and at what ohm load?
I am going to run a single RL-p 12 dual4ohm so I need 600-700 for that but was going to settle for 500+ from the Polk C500.1

I am trying to deside between Polk momo mmc6500 comp. or the CDT HD-62

The c400.4 would give me 75+ Watts on them and 6.5 rear fill that I have not desided on yet may not even need the rear fill in the little Kia Spectra. then I would biamp the componets and get ride of the crossover, witch I have a Coustic XM6 that I will be using anyway, and if I need I can use a 2 chl amp for the rear fill.

Thanks

i have seen the polk 500 do around 600 or a hair more.. very nice amps a little overpriced imo built very well and they do sound very nice

my c400.4 is now bridged so my mmc5250 are getting well over 100rms and they can handle it, so for sure the mmc6500 will handle it pretty well. if u have any doudt, just wanted to let u know...

However, if you want to go active, as I said, the crossover system is very easy to use and theres lots of options!

But I'd rather bridge them, the passive crossover have a 0db -3db and -6db , which is pretty nice, if u feel the tweeter is to harsh put it @ -3db and its done, or even -6db...

bottom-line, you definitely wont go wrong with Polk Momo's
