polk audio sr?

so, ive given up on any sub with a balance of sq and spl cuz they require a box too big for my 07 sti....looking for opinions on the polk audio sr 10" or 12"...anyone heard them before and what should i expect? secondly im only useing one, would a 10" or 12" be better?

haha, uhh not sure, i was planning on something like a fiberglass mould thatd be like a half pipe shape...sub would be on the left side of trunk angled so into the corner kind of, and amps on the right side wall of the trunk...leaveing the middle open...saw an alpine sponsored TC like this and liked it so im going to try and mock it

Those are SQ subs, and they sound great. they can get loud, but not spl loud or anything

SQ oriented for sure. If you can find rough dimensions, we could provide you with options if wanted.

As far as 10 vs 12, the bigger the better in this case. The 12 will have more surface area so more output. Though it will need more space than the 10.

Hertz HX300 is very nice, get loud and cheap, they are better than IDQv3 in SQ and output.
