Polk Amps?

Are Polk amps any good? The reason I'm looking at them is cuz I can get them for 1/3 of the retail price. The specs on them look decent and they are some sexy looking things IMO.

Those amps pretty much JUST came out recently. If they are anything like there carbon MOMO series amps then they will be solid.

1/3rd of retail is still 250$ according to the Polk Website.
Not bad for a 1200 @ 1 ohm, 800 @ 2ohm amp eh?

The AQ 1200 seems similar in price, and I can't tell from specs which is actually better.

No shit Sherlock. But I doubt he's going to get the 4 channel for exactly $166.67. I assumed the "1/3 retail" was an approximation. Just want to know exact pricing.

They are some sexy looking things and from what I have read put out rated power. I'll probably just grab what I want of these, put them in my fun car and use the Memphis amps I have in there in my DD.

I'll be using it in one of my cars, no use in selling it. Though if I change my mind I'll let you know.

$750 retail for 1200w rms? Jesus, you can get a Sundown 1000 for 1/3 of that.

I have experience with the MOMO series, they are built like JL amps. Actually, I think they shared a bit of design.
