***Police tazer mentally ill man, he falls and dies.***

Tor i hope one day you have retarded kids and they get killed by police officers. Now that would be funny.
If my retard is causing a potentially hazardous situation to officers and the public and is taken down, then you certainly won't find me going after the officers. In fact I will shake their hands and thank them for making my life a little easier.

Honestly, all of the shit making fun of retards isnt right at all. It is not the individual's fault unless it was drug induced, in which case oh well, screw 'em. But yeah, lay off the mentally ill a bit.
Whether or not he was mentally handicapped isn't the argument here.

Was it right or wrong? The only relevance to his being handicapped is his instability, which the officers would have assumed anyways when he was running around butt *** ***** screaming "you'll never get me" and all of the other crap.

Cops did the right thing. They protected themselves and the dude's mother who was also probably in harms way.
tasering somebody on a ledge is very poor judgment, no matter how you look at it. That IS wrong.

Be a little more truthful here bud, if your child was mentally handicapped and was in this position, you might not go after the officers because you understand. I do, however, find it hard to believe that you would thank them for making life more simplistic - you're talking about your own son or daughter dying, yet you're happy they are dead because of a defect? Get serious.

Swinging a Fl bulb at people in public butt ***** is poor judgment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I completely agree. Check my first post on the topic.

I agree with how they handled the situation, I strongly disagree with where they chose to do it(providing they did not take any safety measures)

And yes I'm kind of a neutral.

The way it is : Stupid ***** wanted help. ***** got help with a side of poor judgement. Now blames the end of the earth on the officers(to start even more police brutality bullshit) and to collect a paycheck. That's what it boils down to. She wants to get paid.

She is the sorry excuse for a human being and we're probably better off with her ill son running around butt ***** beating us with flourescent bulbs than we are dealing with people such as her.

Yes I would thank them. I wouldn't have the ability to do it myself and would be relieved they saved me the trouble.

How old are you, out of curiousity? Any children?

Not to get too personal as I try to stay out of that crap on the forums, but in all honesty that is an absolutely wrong statement that disgusts me.

IMHO, I think every life is worth as much as the next. Whether impaired or not I think every person deserves to live their life out to its fullest. Its bad enough when someone has half their life taken away from the start due to a disease....

It was flat out poor judgment on the police officers. You are not supposed to taze someone if they are not on ground level. They at least could have tried to catch him or had something to break his fall so that he didn't go head first into a concrete sidewalk.
