pod in door panel ?

hey, i was wondering...what do i use if i want to make my kick pods built into the stock speaker holes. i dont think i can use fleece, so what about kitty hair? would regular FG mat work or what?? heres a pic of the door panels that i got

which part of the door are u wanting to do?

you could just detach that carpeted spot...glass over it, paint and put it back

or if its in the front spot of the door, you could pop that grill piece off and glass right onto that

im wanting to do it over the stock speaker location but what kind of material do i use to stretch around the mdf ring and onto the panel, or should/could i use kitty hair??

hey i just thought of an idea...could i use duct tape to go from the outside of the ring to the door panel then just glass some mat on it then bondo???

no

you can use fleece...t-shirt material...something stretchy....stretch and staple it to the door pm me with more questions if ya want

i can definitely help you out.. just in the process of finishing this type of pod for my car

the pictures arent so good u have to click on em to check em out at imageshack.. basically i cut out the speaker area of the panel, drilled a wooden baffle to the door, and then used chinese chop sticks to give it the shape of the opening.. lots of bondo being used right now to make it nice when i finally prime and paint it, ill have new pictures up soon actually
