I really have no idea how Goob figures necessary storage space. I do know, however, that your logic suggests adding 2400 vendors with 5000 PM limits will not affect the current HDD size, which makes no sense to me. There is only so much storage space available, if new space must be made available for future vendors, it has to come from somewhere. Either the site would be required to upgrade, or limits need to be changed. Obviously Goob felt the latter was the most appropriate action at this time. Again Im sorry if that's an issue for you, but you need to realize Goob cant please everyone and their own personal needs/desires. I have posted ways you can still have the storage space you need, given this new restructuring, so Im not sure what the continuing problem is.
Im confident that if or when 2400 vendors sign up and generate that much additional revenue, Goob would seriously consider some upgrades. But that's a moot point until it occurs. Right now he';s simply setting up the system to allow for the vendor expansion, and again to hopefully draw more professionals to the site, as many members have said they wished to see happen.
All I ask Chemmins, is try the new system for a while before you decide it doesn't work for you. You have plenty of options how to store your PM's for transactions. If these methods are too much work based on the amount of transactions you are involved in with this site, then it seems the paltry fee Goob is asking for a vendor membership would be a good investment for you. But if that investment cant be justified based on your quantity of transactions, the current storage space, and using Word or photobucket once in a while, should suit your needs acceptably.
