I know I've been telling him that for some time now but he seems to brush it off every time...
He may be concerned with exactly how to determine what is considered an inactive account. Ive never been a site admin so I dont even know how hard it would be to sift through all account database.

This blew up in a day. Not sure if this has been said, but the PM system has the option to download all PM's as a text, CSV or XML file. No screenshots or any of that BS is needed. Its at the bottom of the PM box.

He was suggesting a screen shot because they are harder to manipulate, if a person was lying. But you make a good point.

OR we could get rid of all of the multiple posts.
Not trying to be mean or anything but I don't think Goob knows how, honestly. We've had many upgrades that were supposed to help with the server issues (including the double posting) but yet it still occurs on a daily basis...

I don't think it would be unrealistic to say 12 months of inactivity = account deletion, do you? I mean being gone for over a year, I kind of doubt your coming back, and if you do then it's not like it's hard to create a new account.

I will be the first to admit I have no idea what it would take to accomplish this, as I have never been the admin of a forum either. But I don't like how I make useful suggestions on how to benefit the site and Goob gives me sarcastic comments in return.

I think the "Supporting member" idea would work out great, pay a small fee, get more PM's, less Ads. **** $5-8 bucks a month for that would be fine.

If you were regularly buying/selling on here and needing the PM space a couple bucks a month is nothing. Your not paying to sell or buy or trade or anything, you are simply paying to make your life easier by keeping track of more PM's at a time. If you live anywhere that there isn't many car audio enthusiasts around you know **** well how hard it is to sell some equipment.

just my .02

If some of you aren't aware, there is now an option for full vendor membership, but without a forum, for $20/month. It has all the features listed on the sign-up page here
Pay to play now, eh? Personally, I vote for retaining 300 PM limit for "free", and upping it further for paid membership. I go through 300 very quickly through advice, help, answering questions, etc. I find it unnecessary to pay $20/month to offer assistance to other members...

Best wishes to all. I'll live and adapt, just like everyone else. Hopefully people will accept the changes well and consider paid membership.
