Members 81,874 x 150 pms = 12,281,100 pm space avail......

That means 2,456 vendors can come online and not change current (past) space.

Those 2,456 vendors will pay $1,178,880 which I am sure can buy server space.....

Screenshots take up a lot of space if you take one of every pm you have. Also you can't access screenshots you saved from a different computer. I don't know about you guys, but I use a lot of different computers.
I understand, but it should not be the sole responsibility of the site to grant you all the storage space you want, because your own personal situation demands it.

JPG's are pretty small files, and even if that is too big for you or your multi-computer access is a problem, you can always save the pics to photobucket to allow access from any computer.

Check the stats I posted earlier....space should not be an issue. Also I would pay $20 a year or so for the added storage and less ads....like most other sites do.

i only had 300 this morning. you had 1k? now it's 150 though. i specifically cleared space knowing i had at least 1 coming this morning. then my email gets like 50 'inbox is full' messages //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I really have no idea how Goob figures necessary storage space. I do know, however, that your logic suggests adding 2400 vendors with 5000 PM limits will not affect the current HDD size, which makes no sense to me. There is only so much storage space available, if new space must be made available for future vendors, it has to come from somewhere. Either the site would be required to upgrade, or limits need to be changed. Obviously Goob felt the latter was the most appropriate action at this time. Again Im sorry if that's an issue for you, but you need to realize Goob cant please everyone and their own personal needs/desires. I have posted ways you can still have the storage space you need, given this new restructuring, so Im not sure what the continuing problem is.

Im confident that if or when 2400 vendors sign up and generate that much additional revenue, Goob would seriously consider some upgrades. But that's a moot point until it occurs. Right now he';s simply setting up the system to allow for the vendor expansion, and again to hopefully draw more professionals to the site, as many members have said they wished to see happen.

All I ask Chemmins, is try the new system for a while before you decide it doesn't work for you. You have plenty of options how to store your PM's for transactions. If these methods are too much work based on the amount of transactions you are involved in with this site, then it seems the paultry fee Goob is asking for a vendor membership would be a good investment for you. But if that investment cant be justified based on your quantity of transactions, the current storage space, and using Word or photobucket once in a while, should suit your needs acceptably.

An affordable by-the-month option or yearly option for regular members would be most effective, and anybody knows it. As well as increasing user satisfaction and having a happier and more successful site.

$4 a month or $40 a year for "1500" PMs and less ADs would be very affordable, and reasonable, and would entice a lot of members.

Personally, I use Firefox's AdBlocker and have never seen an AD on this site:)

All those using the ad blockers is just another reason we're moving to this. So everyone thank this guy!
