Do you need 150 records of transactions? Im not trying to be a smart ***, Im just trying to decide if this really is going to be an issue for most members.

there are people who have OCD and/or like to keep track of everything. others like to keep every transaction, others don't.

Exactly. Ive done this many times.

Well sometimes a transaction can take 10-15 pms. And remember, that is incoming and outgoing . So in reality you have 75 pm's, cause you have 1 sent and 1 recieved.

If there was a way to amalgamate a pm conversation, that would be even better.

This will work for short convo's/transactions, but this method can lead to the character limit in a PM pretty quickly. As said previously, the best storage method is to simply save the PM's to a text editing program.

Goob knows the harddrive limits here, i do not. But he made it clear in the other thread that this is the limiting factor that caused the change.

And I am not into adding hd space for screenshots. Because thats the best way to prove something, if anything goes awry. Adding to a text based is fine, for general convo, but image actual proof.

Yep, screenshots work too. But Im confused, are you saying you are unwilling to upgrade your own storage capacity to account for your transaction records you wish to keep?

True, but say we had 1000 pm limit before....now 150. Thats 850 per person removed (can be allotted) per person. Vendors get 5k....so 5 people.......

How many registered on the site? Pretty sure the bandwidth is there.....especially if people are paying for the 1500.

Screenshots take up a lot of space if you take one of every pm you have. Also you can't access screenshots you saved from a different computer. I don't know about you guys, but I use a lot of different computers.
