hi i got 2 12'' jbl gto in my 1993 chevy s10 reg. cab there if a fiberglass box i built behind the seat there pretty loud but id think i have enough air space idk? i even put ployfill inside the box. I think my single 12'' sub i had in my truck was around the same db. i want the JBLs louder. thanks

I have an s10 as well. And i am going to suggest you build the majority, if not all of it, out of MDF. Not only will you cut costs, but our trucks are flat on the bottom, no transmission hump behind the seat. So, with no curve, you only need a quadrilateral, like this:

-_____

|_____\

|______\

|_______\

|________\

|_________\

In which case all four sides are straight, therefore MDF would be the stronger, better choice.
