Plz Help!

Ok, my problem is that my amp(s) is not turning on. I run 2 amps in my setup, one for comps and one for sub, a few weeks ago my ground wire for my sub amp came loose, touched the power cable on the amp and ended up blowing the fuse up by the battery. I replaced that fuse and everything worked. A week ago or so I started having a problem of my amps now turning on. Today, I checked all the wiring and everything was correct. I even ran a wire from the battery to the remote hookup of the amp so it would turn on, and no sound came out of the speakers.

When the fuse holder fuse burst, could that have fried parts of the headunit, aka rca outputs, i have 3 on my headunit, and the remote wire?

If not, PLZ HELP! because even when i got it to turn on it still didnt send any sound out of the speakers.

what setting do i put it on, the multimeter that is, and for a DMM, you need a + and a - right? remote wire is only one wire
is your dmm auto ranging? if not start at the highest setting for DC voltage range, then work your way down, it is a really small amount of power though. put your probes in the V and the com plugs. then turn the dial to the V with a little dc or straight and dotted line, not the wave, that is AC. put the red probe on the remote wire and ground the other one to something metal in the car.

check the voltage at the amps power inputs. then check the remote wire. is one amp turning on and the other not, or are both not turning on?
They just arent turning on. RIght now i only have one amp in the car and it doesnt turn on. Today when i installed my new 4 channel, it turned on real quick the first time i hooked it up, then just shut off, then when i ran a wire from battery to the remote wire it turned on but as i said prior, there was still no sound coming out.

You are going to have to at least give the DMM a shot to get some sort of info for people to work with. It could be multiple problems. Did you re-check the ground? Try a running a test set of RCA's even? In your thread it seems you just keep trying the same thing over and over with the same result.

i switched out the power wire, and it works. EVERYTHING WORKS RIGHT. I think something might have got fried in the power wire and toasted it somewhere inside. Thanks for all your insights GUYS!!!
