Plywood layers

Don't throw your money away, MDF properly braced, heavier, just as sturdy, no kerfs to worry about and not an IB wall, so no need for expensive birch ply. For the cost of birch ply, you could use my wood product of choice, 1.125" thick MDF, can't lift the box, but it don't vibrate at all!

I've bought from their ebay store and no issues as at that time it was cheaper there because it was free shipping at that moment. I always check their actual web page, ebflex web page and the corresponding ebay pages. Same companies so no issues.

Now other sketchy ebay sellers yeah never know agreed.

I say go for it. Just add some kind of bracing to the bigger panels. Some old home speaker boxes were made of 3/8" mdf. Maybe not even mdf, some...
