You know, I live and die by that statement. But some how it loses it's effectiveness coming from the mouth of a guy that just posted pics of his osb enclosure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
then u should know how true the statement is dumbass.... you people r so hard headed

I'm the dumb ***? and the hard headed one?

Yeah I'm hard headed for a reason. What ever man, keep building your craptastic osb enclosures, and I will continue to be a dumb *** hard head that laughs at you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yea i got bored and made a box out of 1/2 inch plywood for 2 15 T1 subs lol... i wanted some beat for temp till i get another box built... its tuned to like 23-26 hz around 7-6 cubes i believe. ill have a video up as soon as i find a camera lol. top of the box flexes a sh!t ton, but amazingly it sounds badass... well to me it does. for basically no upgrades such as extra batts or any of that crap it sounds really good to me.

Still loving the haters on this forum. U don't need a huge port to get loud.
Remember it's not what ya got, it's what you know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

it is when u aint got a job jackass
Well maybe its time to get your fat *** from teh computer and make some money douche nozzle

seriously, when i was a sup ay best buy we sold this indian guy a p1 and told him he was going to need a box to put it in. he said he didnt understand why he needed a box......2 hours later he came back and had speaker wire hooked up to it from the rear speaker in a 98 corolla....he used the fu@king actual box the sub came in and told us the sub was broken and wouldnt work. it was so funny. i will never forget how mad he got and kept yelling that we sold him a broken sub..itwas AWESOME!!!

LOL like a week later we had another guy come in a say " you homey, check this out right quick. sumpin is wrong with my bass box." seriously thats exactly how he sounded, thing was he was a little skinny white kid. any way he said the only time his "system" played/hit was when he was stoped at a light. NO JOKE this thug hooked his amp turn on to his brake light wire!!! lol...fun times fun times

True, but you still probably need more port. Thats a pretty big box broseph. I build alot of boxes, and always go with 12-16" of port area per cube of net volume. With a smaller port you get alot more air noise, and lose that flat low end response you want with a ported box but end up with a peaky sounding setup.
well i dont do what all of this forum does. i dont want numbers. i am not lookin to get anything with numbers. i listen to chopped and screwed music so its tuned super low so i can hit low *** notes.

lol yeah and low notes require you to move air. The lower you tune the more critical it is to keep a low airspeed. Once your port begins to compress you begin to lose the extra low end that you gain by tuning low in the first place. At low volumes you transfer function probably looks like it's supposed to. Once you add power to the subs the port has massive turbulence and stops acting as a port.
