plug on wiring harness

Alright so I finaly got my new car adn there was already a aftermarket cd player in it (a clarion). So when I went to take out the clarion and put mine in the plug that goes into the headunit itself is different. Do I have to get a new wiring harness or can I exchange the plugs?

more than likely you will have to buy the right harness that plugs into your headunit. theyre not all the same. but if youre talking about the wireing harness you buy that plus directly to youre cars oe wiring harness and all you have to do is wire the headunit to it then no.

you will have to install a new harness that comes with your hu. since you already have an aftermarket harness installed, you can simply match the color codes of the old harness with the harness you need.
