Pls help-no audio, only humming sound from subs

Well I replaced my old power acoustik amp with a new model. Installed the new one the same way the old one was same wiring etc. No matter what I have my settings adjusted to all i get is a really low humming sound coming from both my subs. I rechecked my wiring everything seems ok grounds, polarity, speaker wires etc. Could it be a defective amp? Thanks!

could be, hook up your old amp again to see if it plays if not you might have a blown sub but if it does it is either a bad amp or something is wired wrong for that specific amp.

usually when that happens, my lpf/hpf settings are incorrect. are they in the correct phase?
