Hell 3/4 is going to be fine. My salt tank is 3/4 and it holds 280 gallons of water+ live rock. If it will hold over a ton of water inside it sloshing around I don't think that 3/4 will have any problems. Also for $50 thats a steal, the removable tops for my tank cost more than that!!

Polycarbonate is bullet-proof glass when used thick enough. RC car bodies are made of polycarbonate (Lexan). Plexiglass is just essentially plastic glass. Strong, but not bulletproof.

only $50 for the entire box? the materials are gonna cost WAY more than that, is that $50 for labor alone or $50 for materials and labor?
