I'm putting a pioneer indash in my 97 Cadillac deville. I bought a wiring harness adapter . I matched all colored wires color for color. I have a solid blue wire coming out of the wiring harness adapter with nothing wired to it . I also have a blue and white wire coming from the indash. Do I ground these wires?? Do I connect them together?? What do I do I'm lost. Indash will not power on when plugged in.

Did the HU/Radio come with the instructions to wire it up??

Yes, blue with blue. Do you have a way for testing 12 volt power? Test for power with key forward at the Yellow wire and then at the Red wire. One of the test wires must be connected to bare metal on the car. If it works, then test by connecting to Black wire at the harness. If this also works, check for a fuse on the radio. Do these tests with the radio unplugged.
