Please help!

So i'm currently have some major issues with my subs. And yes i have used google and tried to search for an answer but so far nothing i have done has helped. So I have two 4 ohm kicker 12in comps in a ported box powered by a hifonics zrx1216.1d. which is running from a audio control lc2i off my Oem 2012 focus headunit. The box has 1.60 Cu. Ft. Air Space per Sub which i know is a little on the small side but the subs arnt hitting very hard at all and when they do it sounds like absolute ****. And when i have just one running it sounds pretty **** good. But according to rms specs of the amp and subs i should be geting more then enough power to both of the subs @ 2ohms. So if anyone can shed some light on my situation i would greatly appreciate it.

Are they wired in phase? U can do the 9v battery test and make sure the both pop the same way.

Yeah they are both in phase.

Set the gain correctly along with head unit settings. Hate to burst your bubble but the zues series of hifonics is no different than boss or power acoustic. You are getting 600 watts tops out of that amp.

Well i feel dumb now.. i went to double check the phasing and it turns out they were out of phase. but all the wires were all ran correctly according to terminal labels and it turns out kicker labeled their terminals wrong on one of my subs. But i know my amp isnt the greatest but it was good for the price
