please help

Ok, still somewhat new to all of this, I have an explod amp with two 10w0 jl subs. I have alow and a high pass filter I think they are called, so does that mean that I can run both my sub and my mids off of my amp. I know that it isn't ideal but I have limited funds. If I can where would I set the gains and can I even do this without a crossover. Thanks for any advice offered.

It is a four channel amp, I have two channels running my subs. Hope that helps. thanks for the help.

Yeah man that helps. You can run your subs and mids. Use the front channels for the mids. And the rear channels for the subs. Set the rear channels crossover to low pass, and the fronts to high pass. The easiest most effective way I know of setting gains is too find a piece of music you are real familiar with. Turn the gains all the way down. Then turn your head volume up to about 3/4 of max volume. Then slowly turn the gains up until you hear distortion in the music (popping, crackling, wierd distorted sound that you don't normally hear in the song, and such).
