I would say yes to everything except for the box, have someone build you one or build it yourself.

And as for the wiring, 4 guage will be sufficient for power/ground cables.

Don't buy that box! Just grab some box plans off of Jmac or Moe Lester and build your own! Not only will you save an assload of money, it'll be a hell of alot cheaper!

That H/U is so so.. but how much can you spend on a H/U..you can do alot better!

Nice choice of amp. I was going to get one, but would only be seeing prob. around 700 watts with voltage drops (not enough for me)

p.s. building a box is a great experience.. I didn't know what the fk i was doing when I made mine, but I learned alot.. and I'm proud of it!

nono, sorry I totally fked that sentence up there.. lol

My voltage meter only usually reads about 14.0V but I figure when I get my amp in it would prob be alot lower. The MRD 1005 is rated at 14.4V so my guess was that I'd be seeing alot less then 1000 watts. Got ya.. But it would have done more in the area of 900w or so. 0.4v less will not do too much damage to the overall output.

You think im gonna stick around the same voltage when I get my amp hooked to my car? Last time, my memphis 1000D totally dimmed my lights. I'll prob. do a big 3 upgrade/deep cycle battery upgrade A.S.A.P

My battery is a Everstart

Cranking Amps:650

Cold Cranking Amps:525

I don't think my battery does much in this instance.. but just letting you know.

Man, you buy plans.. buy some off of like Moe Lester for 6$.. he will answer any questions you have. There isn't much to cutting out some peices and putting them together, seriously.

i see alot of people with systems in their trunk and most of the time it rattles the trunk is there a way to stop that or just put the system in ur back seat?
