Please help with Wiring Situation...

Alrighty I have 2 12's DVC dual 4ohm and each 12 is in its own sealed box. I just bought a T1001BD mono amp and its stable at 1ohm so I am going to wire each sub at 2ohms and then that would create a 1ohm load on the amp which would work perfectly but my question is from the wire comming from the amp do I splice it and add another wire to connect to the second box? I know how to wire the subs in the box like - to - and + to + and then to the box but I just dont see how the wire comming from the 1ch can conncect to 2 boxs? Any help, THANKS!

just run both of the wire sets (one from each box) to the amp. viola! 1 ohm load.

So both sets of wires will fit into 1ch on the amp? Its a mono amp?

just run wire from each box... to the 1 channel on the amp... be done with it

connect the negative terminals together then the positive ones together for one box. Then do the same with the second box. Now that thats done, connect the 2 negs together and the 2 pos together (twist them) then connect it to the amp. Thats 1 ohm. Check the wiring help for subs thread also. thats a big help

I prefer it like this. There really is no "better", it's just personal preference.

Since my box was a ported undivided box i wired in parallel (dual 4ohm Memphis subs) down to 1 ohm to ONE set of terminals on the box then from there to my amp bridged.
