Guys do amps put out less power the higher your load is? Like say if I was to use a amplifier such as the R804 which is 400x2 @ 4ohms, and I hook up two DVC4's to it so that would be 8ohm load per channel, would I still get the full amount of power? I ask because I want the single vc models, but they are not in stock...only the dual 4's...any help would be appreciated...i thought that anything over 4 didn't matter, but i might be wrong...

And what exact amp is making 400w x 2 @ 4 ohms, I would love to see it. If your amp is bridgeable to a 4 ohm mono load, but the dvc 4 ohm subs and wire them in a series / parallel circuit. This will be a stable 4 ohm mono combined load that is safe for the amp to run. A 400w x 2 amp, priceless.....
