hey guys im going to be geting a memphis belle 1300 tomorrow and have a question about wireing it up. im also geting the memphis 5ch rca cables but it only has 1 rca input on the amp and my old mtx amp has 2 so how do i wire it up?

the guy at the stereo shop said for me to use a rca spliter behind the hu for the sub output. it this right? will it sound normal?

Actually, if you want to do it correctly, Memphis recommends the use of a bridging module for a summed signal.

Using a Y cable will result in a loss of output, unless your head unit has a selectable stereo/mono sub out.
