Please help me

Well here is what I did and it powered on. Took small strands of power wire. Ran 1 to the + of the battery to the + of the amp. - on battery to - on amp. remote wire from + to rem input on amp. Now it turns on. but when I have this same set up using a fuseblock and distro block and grounded to a good spot and a longer rem wire it doesn't work. I changed fuses and no change. Any ideas?

Thanks

check the voltages and quality of ground at the distro blocks with a multimeter. check the voltage on the remote wire, too. should lead you to what isnt working.

Well I only have one distro block going from a 5 guage wire spilt to 1 lead of 9 gauge and one fuse block going from 5 to 5 and replaced the fuse in the fuse block. Could it be just cuase me wires are shitty? Ill get on checking the voltage on those wires but I left my muitimeter at a friends house. What do you think fixed it my ground being better or better power connection?

thanks
