ugh! what came loose?!

I got an IM today from a friend away at school. When he was home for thanksgiving I put 2 12" CVR's and a crunch 1000 watt amp in his car. He said today he busted a quick U-turn and at the end of the u-turn his system cut off. He knows nothing about car audio so i want to explain as simply as possible what to check. At first I thought he blew something, but he said subs smelled fine right after he pulled over and the amp was still lit up green power. Not to mention it happened on a u-turn at low volume, which makes me think something came loose. What could have went wrong that his amp still has power but subs arent playing at all? I thought if RCA/Ground/Power werent all perfect it wouldnt even light up. RCA's seem really hard to come undone. Any ideas?

RCA connection. Possibly broke the RCA wires. Check connection from the amp to the subs. Other than that, nothing much to go wrong in there.

How can I explain to him to check if the RCAs are broken?

he would most likly have to pull the radio out, to get to the other end of the RCA's at the deck..

Aight thanks, he'll be home from school in a week, ill just do it for him when he gets home before he ****s anything else up.

get someone's subs and hook em up, if they dont work, its somewhere before the amp, if they do, its in the box. Hook up another amp... you know the drill.
