Well I had everything working in my car and then I had a flat tire so I removed my sub box by just disconnecting the speaker wire to the amp. Then after I got everything fixed I put it back in the same way and connceted everything and now my amp doesn't even power on. I had to wire the remote wire straight to the battery and that was working before. I know I am getting voltage from the battery to the remote wire connects to the wire running back to my amp which is wrapped around the rem post on the amp. My amp is a RF 225.2 by the way. I have everything the same I tried making a stronger connection at the amp by wrapping it better around the rem post and then making a tighter connection at the power input and at the distro block. Also changed fuses back and forth and see if that did anythign and still nothing. My ground is decent same place that it was working before. I shortened the wire from the battery that connects to the wire running back to my amp. Thats all I have done. I can provide pictues I just really need help.

Thanks for your time,

Darren

try loosening one of the wires from your amp, twist the wire, blow it off, put it back in the terminal and retighten it back down making sure you have a solid connection. do that one by one with every wire connecting to your amp. thats the only thing i can think of. maybe a loose connection somewhere?

Would I have heard anything if the amp fuse would have blown? I will go and try disconnecting and reconnecting all my wires and let you know. I will also move my ground to another spot and see if that changes anything. I will move it back if nothing happens.

Thanks keep the ideas comming please

you would have heard like some sparking, and a popping noise. however many fuses you have is the number of *pops* you would have heard (assuming you blew them all). you can just take the fuses out and hold them up to the light to see if they are blown. didnt blow your amp did you? accidentally arc it when you lifted the false floor? + and - could have touched? thats how mine blew.

go to walmart and buy a 5 pack of fuses for $1.38 and leave them in your glove compartment for such occasions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well my amp has a internal fuse should open it up and take a look? It may have arched but the chances of that are very small since there were no bare wires exposed. I disconnected and reconnected all my wires and still nothing. I couldn't see/find another decent ground if I can't figure it out I will get some extra powerwire and then run it staight to the negative of the battery and see if its the ground.

all my fuses are internal too. ****in soundstream. where your seats bolt to the body should be a good enough ground. thats what ive always used. i really have no other ideas, im sorry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Well it wouldn't do anything if the remote wire thats connected to the battery touched that metal that connects the seat to the chassis and there was a spark but I grabbed the wire within a second of it touching. I will try to run it to that metal part if my wire is long enough (it should be).

use a dmm to see how many volts you're gettin with the remote turn on wire.
