I recently got a new, well new used car it came with a pioneer head, diamond audio amp, Boston acoustic component speakers and two yamaha speakers. The system worked fine for awhile then all of the sudden it made a really weird noise or lack there off. For a millisecond every couple of seconds I would hear the music. I thought it was a problem with the cd player so I took it out wired up a Sony got that running with power and even though the rca cables aren't even plugged in yet its still making a clicking noise. Same rhythm as before but since the cd players hasn't been connected to the amp yet the noises that I hear are clicks and not the music that was playing before, it sound like ,click.....click.....click..... etc. What the hell is wrong? I cant figure it out. The speaker cables are wired directly from the factory harness to the amp. I am really clue less to what is wrong, possibly some kind of electrical interference? I would really appreciate some help thank you.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Trace all the wires to and from the amp.. You may have one grounded or broken or a speaker wire may be too close to power and or ground.. If it makes noise without the deck I think it might be the remote wire sounds like it was wired to accesory power rather than the deck.. If you cannot find the problem.. you may try removing the wires and reinstalling that way you can see how and where thaey are placed to make sure it is done correctly.. without seeing the car thats the best I can come up with.

Mykeys is pretty much on target there on what you can check. I would tho while your at it pull that Sony deck back out and put in the Pioneer......Sorry am a lil biased, but have seen more problems stem from Sony (not ES) heads and amps recently than I care to speak of now. Post back tho if you have any other questons or problems after you check that out.
