Glad you are happy with your setup.

Don't be afraid to muck around with your eq a bit. Best is to write down a journal of all your settings and muck around until you find what you like. Then go back to your original settings and move slowly from there to the finished point before. It allows you to refine it a bit more.

I missed something.

Turns out the bass control on the HU only controls the quantity of bass, d'uh! It's not a crossover ad when I set it to 60Hz all I was doing was making 60Hz the "centre" frequency, around which I could further set the bypass range. On opening the tailgate I was surprised to hear a relatively full-range signal coming from the sub! Fail!

So I've turned on the LPF on the amp to the sub, cranked up the sub gain a bit, reduced the front gain a tad & faded in the rears just a smidgen. Bob's the proverbial! I had no idea this amount of sound was possible. The bass just rolls around but with so much punch it kinda hurts. Sandstorm by Darude is truly spectacular! By far the best sound I've ever heard in a car. Now when I read of some of the esoteric stuff you guys are using it makes me wonder.

Truth be told it makes me wish I was twenty years younger.
