hey im new to this car audio stuff so have patience lol. I have a budget, i bought sony speakers i know dumb they ****, but now im looking to change it around. I'm looking for crisp sounding speakers with some good deep bass. I'm not looking for my license plate to rattle because of bass lol. Just looking for it to be clean and crisp.First I want to buy the speakers then should i buy an amp? or a head unit first then an amp? Also i plan on buying a small sub to give some more bass what kind of amp would i need to power all of this? Here are things i was looking at please give me your opinion. Thank Youhttp://www.millionbuy.com/pericbm1062.html

p.s. what is the difference between 2-way 3-way and 4-way speakers?

What is your budget, what are you planning to put this into?

2-way speaker will have a main midrange and then a tweeter. 3-way will be an extra "super tweeter" etc.

Oh and "hi!" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wave.gif.002382ce7d7c19757ab945cc69819de1.gif

Welcome to the forum.

Buy your HU first, then branch out to speakers, rear fill if you feel necessary, component amp, then buy your subs, and a sub amp that matches the power needed for the sub.....not that hard

Ok, just clicked your links and ummm...no.

Give us a budget. You may not have enough to do everything right now. But we can get you moving in the right direction.

Everything does NOT have to match (be the same brand).

Head unit is a good start. If you can do a head unit and front speakers, I would go that route first (even if it is not amplified right now)

best way to tackle this questions is to say i need (then list what ya need such as HU, amp, components,) then say this is my budget can you guys suggest something for me.

theres plenty of guys that will be able to put something together for you. also plenty of guys that have some quality equipment for sale.

EDIT ^^^^^^^ what they said.....

Yes, you can get a used HU for less than that. If you currently have speakers installed that are aftermarket, start looking at a HU.

Don't worry about rear fill at all. Just focus for now on a decent HU and then some decent front speakers. Get components if you can (A seperate tweeter, mid-range speaker and a crossover designed for the set)

a sub is the last thing im lookin at by the way, is there anyway i could get 4 speakers and a HU for 250? and possibly an amp?

Very unlikely.

Don't listen to everyone saying that sony xplodes are ***.

They are no where close to a top speaker, but they are not crap. Just not as quality as other speakers.

Your more likely to get a HU and some comps right now.
