Hertz Mlk165, Hsk165, or MLK2

We are ordering tomorrow, now i have pro60s in, i dont know which ones to go with

ive heard the mlk165 and the hsk and they both sound really nice, i just hate the color of the mlk tweeter grill and love the the look of the tweeter on the mlk2, but i think there is a huge price difference, so i thout about just buying the ml1600 woofer and the 280 tweet and going active with the 3sixty.2

but then i would have to grab a 4ch amp

Well my friend. I have two pairs of HSKs and one pair of MLKs

If I could do anything differently, it would be exatly what you're looking to do. The mid and the tweeter sound great fromthe MLKs, but it does look like ***. It looks as if I can pull the mesh of, but there would go the warranty. My only issue with these mids is that they do not like extreme cold. I'm waiting for my 4th pair of mids in the last 4 months.

what do you like the most... mlk vs hsk? whats more detailed and sounds the best?

The Mille is a sexy looking line...

but the High energy series, is really tuned towards getting loud....IMO...

I'd take the MLKs anyday. They have an insane ammount of detail without being harsh. And they go just as loud if not louder than my HSKs. I'm feeding approx 160 rms to each woofer, and about 60 to each tweeter, and it seems its about perfect.

i have the high energy 3ways and i love them. I'm feeding 200rms to each side and the midbass is just insane. i have a small cabin too, so its that much more dramatic.

I was bi-amping, but I just switched to active. Other than the issues in the cold, I absolutly love the speakers.

well im getting a set of ML1600 woofers and Ml280 tweeters, i was going to get the mlk165, but i just cant stand that tweeter look, love these tweets, pure ***, and the mlk2 cost too dang much with that crossover

going to run them active on the 3sixty.2 and a RF t600.4 for these and a p4002 for the rear hertz hcx165

dont know when they will be here, will have plenty of pics dont worry

also changing up the subs soon too surprise...

oh yea, that tweeters retails for a good bit, just the tweets, cant remember the exact price

its ridiculous imo, but its so secsy, the whole body is milled out of aluminum
