Please help for Christmas!

I'm sorry to repost but not getting any replies... I bought this stuff for Christmas for my son and I haven't hooked up any stereo stuff in years! Please help an old timer out. Is there any way to hook this combination up to get the most out of the amp or do I have to buy different speakers?

I have a Punch 250.2 amp and 2 Kicker svc 4ohm 12's. I want to wire these so I get the most power possible from the amp. I think the easy answer is I should have bought 2 ohm speakers but I already had those and ran across the amp later. The 250.2 amp says it is rated at the following RMS: 60x2 @ 4ohms, 125x2 @2 ohms, and 250x1 @4ohms. Since my two 12's are 4 ohm subs, can I wire the subs in parallel to get to 2 ohms which would allow 250 watts RMS pushed to the subs?

I really appreciate any help someone could give me!

Since you have 2 SVC 4 ohms subs then you can only wire them to 8 or 2 ohms, at 8 you won't get much power, 2 is too low for the amp. Your best bet using that equipment is to run one sub on each channel of the amp. Can you still return the subs? The best situation is to bring them back and swap them for 2 ohm subs.
