please help a noob with an install

im trying to put my system in my car but i need some help with the wiring from the battery back to the camp and amp

it says to take the fuse out of the fuse holder but i cant seem to do that it seems like its all one piece a fat T shaped. another thing is the battery terminal why do i need one if there is a 4 guage wire with a ring terminal that needs to be hooked up to the positive side of the battery?

If someone could give me a link to show how to wire everything with a cap

ive searched but i couldnt find anything

have a good shop do it, then look and see what they do.

run the power from the battery to the cap, then from the cap to the amp. Use good grounds. And unhook your battery up front while doin this

what i dont understand is the fuse thats shaped like a T it has 2 outlets for the 4 guage wire but it says to disconnect the fuse but it seems like one piece and i dont want to break anything also like i said the wire that goes from the battery to the fuse already has a clamp ring to connect it on the + terminal of the battery but the kit i bought also comes with a terminal that hooks up to the battery and has 2 3 outlets so i dont know what thats for if the wire has a clamp for the battery

the battery terminal is for is ur wire didnt have the ring terminal. The wire end would plug into the openings on the terminal.

The way u describe the fuse block is kinda confusing, could u maybe find a pic of it or even another that looks similar so i can get a better idea of what u are talking about? Also if u dont wanna take the fuse out, u can always leave the wire disconnect fromt he battery until everything is hooked up. Sould give u the same outcome as if the fuse was pulled.

when you install the power wire. you normaly take teh fuse out (which is near the batt) so the wire is not live with power.

yea its the fuse that comes in the scosche amp and cap kit the 4 guage kit

then it should look like a giant version of like the fuses u use in ur car correct? It should be a MAXI style

yea pretty much so im wondering how i would get it out ive pulled on it but i dont want to pull to hard and break something

nevermind ive been trying all day to take it apart and i couldnt but i just tried and it came out with no problem lol
