HELP I jacked something up

OK I was having a Noob moment today. I was installing the remote start on my wifes xb and something went wrong. The car armed it self once I pluged it in. I was able to lock the doors and unlock the doors. I was going to use the hood pin but as soon as I plugged it in the car tried to start which should not happen. I then pressed the unlock button. I then tried to start the car with the key and nothing. all I have is the lights on the dash for when the door is open and the battery light and the check oil light. Now this is the kicker those lights are on with the key not in the ignition. I then disconnected the battery and plugged it back and still the same. I even went as far as to uninstall the entire alarm but still nothing changed. I checked all the fused and none where blown. So now what? What could be the problem. Oh the alarm is a Cliford matrix. Some one please give some insight.

sounds like you may have to have your computer reset.

is that something I can do myself or do I have to take it to the stealership?
