Playing other video formats on dvd player

Can you play videos downloaded from limwire etc. like .wma or .mpg or mpeg w/e it is on in dash flip out monitors? Or can you only play DVDs on it?

Depends which monitor you have. When I make a music viceo cd on Limewire, I make it a VCD and it plays it. Most quality monitors will play a VCD, same goes for dvd players.
