Playing hard then hitting soft?

Just installed a hifonics brx2400.1d doing 1 ohm 2400 watts and I just installed an audiocontrol overdrive line driver and I noticed when playing a sort of bassy song itll hit hard then hit kinda soft. I checked both subs and they play. at high volumes, it tends to play hard no matter what. I do have a 30 farad cap and shuriken battery, no isolator though. Could this be the voltage drop? I think it might be because my good friend and installer of all my equipment through custom sounds says it might be the voltage drop and to order an isolator. Anyone have any ideas?

ditch the cap.... and try it again

Ugh why in the world would you spend money on a 30 farad cap? Its likely very low end and more of a problem... For 2400 watts 2-3 farad would be sufficient as long as you are not using it as a bandaide and using it as support......

Sell cap and get another battery together with big 3 if you did not do that yet!

My guess is voltage drop. Can you measure your voltage at full tilt and see how low you're dipping?

Depending on how drastic the drop is, another battery or even an upgraded alternator might be appropriate for your system.

take out the cap and in line driver and see if that helps.

Ok I am probably going to get rid of the Cap soon. I just ordered a Kinetik KHC1800 to put in my battery tray. I also ordered a PAC isolator 200 amp. Hopefully this will fix my problem thanks.
