both are extremely high prices.. look at mine.

This one is a hard call. I personally like the Planet/ Diamond setup alot.. Then again, the JL setup is very nice. I think the JL will have a definate edge in SQ. That is a very clean setup. If you are looking for sheer clean sound, and not worried about the price that much, the JL setup is for you. This one is basically up to your budget. If you have $2279 to spend, that JL setup is very nice. Unless you are dead set on having the two 500/1s, i would forget that and get a 1000/1 and save some trouble, and an extra amp, and money. Either way...Its a very nice little setup. So..Its just up to you and your budget i guess, but theres my 2 cents.

Edit: Im not sure where the 1000/1 produces its power, and you could get that with the

two W6's. If you cant get the full potential out of the 1000/1 with them, the two

500/1 would be a better choice. It will just call for a bit of research.

I would pull for Planet Audio, they are good solid amps and unless your going to compete in SQ there is not really a reson for the JL's

I personally concur w/ Denim on this one...I was just trying to tell him about that setup. If it were me i would go with the Planet Stuff.

well if you are asking what would beat harder well 3000 comparing to 1000 watts I rhink 3000watts will hit harder but i agree that the JL will have more Sq, it depends of what you are looking for...

Anyway for looks it would be cool to have all your setup of the same brand if you have the money to go for it...
