planet audio bigbang 2400.1 over a audiopipe 3000?

i never ran 1 in my vehicle but i have set a few up and they are strong amps. IIRC they were from the same build house and as DD and they are super efficient. u shoudl be fine running those subs off that amp. there are a few people doing that with no issues as long as u set gains correctly and try not to clip them u will be fine
This is the key..

And yes, I bought the AQ 2200D when they were $380.00, even at today's $430.00, is still a dang good bargain for the $$ The more headroom you can have, the less you will have to drive the amp to maintain a good output volume and keep things under much better control.

The VFL100.1 Is a pretty good quality amp. I would not sacrifice build quality and performance for just a couple extra watts.

agreed i like the vfl series but i would run try to get 2k like the 120.1 on the sa's though. i think u would see a difference witha 700 watt increase of course if he has the proper electrical to run it

it is funny how for the sake of simplicity, it is easier to suggest a amp with rated rms that matches a sub's rated rms. In actuality folks should be looking for an amp capable of 2x driver rms.....but this too depends on the sub. I have heard (and built) systems with two 250 watt rms subs and one 1000 watt rms amp that would blow you away with sql. If a decent sub dies, 99.9% of the time, it is the operator's fault.

id give give them 1200-1300 each. id just make sure power is clean. i throw everything i can at my hdc3 and its only rated for 1k
i seen them get pretty stinky on more than 1k so i would say probably not a good idea for the guys that dont really know what their doin

thanks for the input guys, so steer clear of the planet audio 2400.1? ill keep the aq 2200 in mind when i decide to go new amp shopping lol so basically what your trying to say is that i could run the saz 3000 or ever saz 3500 as long as im not clipping the subs will not fry? and ik electrical and the box must be up to par but this is possible?
