Amp Recommendations for Budget SQ Build

Looking for amp recommendations for the SUV. Ill be running a set of Powerbass Extreme 2XL 3 way components up front, Adire Audio Koda 8" subs in the rear.

I want to run passive for now. I dont want to dump a bunch of money into my 14 year old QX4.

Looking at something that can do 300@2 ohms bridged or 300@8. Id like to find a 4 channel, run channels 1 and 2 to the fronts and bridge 3 & 4 on the subs.

OP, what's the budget? My buddy has an Image Dynamics 5 channel for sale for a pretty sweet price. Or I have an old school Sony Mobile ES that would be good for you. I ran it just like you want to. With the fronts on my Focals and rears bridged to a single 8. Nice little setup.

If its the ID5800 that DJMarshmallow had here I already thought about it. Dont have that kind of budget. Im considering running a Kicker ZX350.4. One sub each to channel 3 and 4 and the comps on 1 and 2.

View attachment 26533816I have an old school Hifonics Gemeni VII that will work fantastic,and get the best of both worlds,of sq,and power needed..Spoony has gone through it this year for me, and works great,and i will not be using the amp..it needs the speaker plugs,that can be found on ebay.i have temp wiring on it at the moment pm me if interested:santa:

Can you swing $250? I just got a new PPI Phantom 4 channel. Class D, does 125x4@4 and it's f'n tiny. I mean tiny. Not 2ohm bridgeable though.

Get PPI P900.4 and run it bridged at 8 ohms. That will be about 290 watts RMS on bridged channel which is about what you need (each channel is rated for 145watts RMS with 4ohm impedance, so running bridged with 8ohms impedance should give you 2x145watts IMHO).
