hmmm, i could fit the box, but then i couldent fit anything else!! i like to ski, so i need the room for that crap, i have a 92 taurus SHO, any box ideas for this would be appreciated!

You could do like I plan and make your box “gangsta” which means to have the port on the outside of the box, like a chimney.

Your box will be smaller since you won't need to account for the port displacement. But then you have to find room outside of the box to fit the port.

so if i wanted to get the most SQ out of this sub that i could, what kind of a box would i want to build( i know that this isnt an SQ sub, but i figure if i tune it for SQ it will still get plenty loud for me), im not looking to compete or anything, and i might end up using this for my daily driver, so i want it to sound halfway decent too.

I got my FU 18 in about a week ago. I have the box all drawn up and am going to start building it after finals this week. I want to take my time and build it right. I'm also in the process of acquiring a Memphis mojo to push this beast. Sounds badass. I chose a different amp besides the atomic amp. I'm going with that MA Audio HC4002.
