pit bulls

Enjoy them, they are here and yours now. Its not so much the individual dogs that i have problems with, they are loving animals. My problem definantly arises from the business practices of their breeders, and all the people that have their hands in the bank. Also the majority of the breeders dont health test, nor compete in anything, so my question is why breed? Dave Wilson
And many will answer, to have a loving dog, but there are millions of great dogs that are sitting in shelters and rescues across this country just waiting for a good home.

10,000 dogs die EVERY DAY due to no homes. Sad reality. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Can you tell this is a strong subject for me? lol.

I feel the same way with other breeds as well, its just the Bullies are hurting my breed of choice, and it really pisses me off.

Its refreshing to hear someone with some common sense. I rescued both my pits and would not have it any other way.

I would add more but I think you have hit all the bases in this thread.

Couple pics of me and my dog. He is 70lbs and spoiled to the core. Nicest dog you will ever meet. Same for my roomates female. she is 50lbs and thinks she's a lap dog

Good lookin dogs, both mine were rescued as well. My male I took from an ex-friend of mine that was taking him to the pound because he didnt have enough time, my female was actually an accidental breeding that a buddy of mine had (his female was left out, and his male broke out of his pen and got to her) and i took the last pup under the condition that he spayed his female, which he did, so now i have 2 beautiful, loving dogs. Would like to save more, i just dont have the time/finances now, but i do try and donate as much as possible to rescues that i know of. IE. Spindletop, BADrap, etc.

Id also like to add this website for those that would like more info, need questions answered or just want a refreshing website with lots of loving owners and info. The admin manually allow you in, so it takes a few days to register, but there is a wealth of knowledge on there. Also, i would definantly not suggest breeders go over because they will reem you a new one simply for mentioning it. Consider yourselves warned, lol.
