if you are looking for one to shoot, get a new one, or even one to carry, get a new one.I thought it was a 1996 gun, not a 1896. Hell, Iam not even gonna think about shooting this thing! I might look into sellin it tho, iam not in a desperate need to be strapped. I would be happy wit $200.The finish of the gun is a Blue finish, the grips look to be pearl, however there is no owl head on it. It may not be pearl, but looks like it except more brown, might just be from age.
THanks for your help.
Werd, I thought this one was fairly new, but boy was I wrong.if you are looking for one to shoot, get a new one, or even one to carry, get a new one.
get a .40 cal, .45, or a .44 mag revolver. if you want something not as serious as those, go with like a .38 revolver. simple and wont be too much to handle.Werd, I thought this one was fairly new, but boy was I wrong. I still can't believe it, the gun is in really good shape other than the few mechanical sticks. The finish is better than some of my newer guns //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
I will prolly get somethin a little more modern, like a 9
get a ruger mark III .22, those things are so fun to shoot. cheap, reliable, overall great guns.found out quite a bit from some other forums about my gun. Seems that it may not be a 2nd generation after all. Someone suggested it may be the US Revolver model, which was made from scrap 2 generation models, but made after the 3rd generation.
Someone else told me that my gun has been reblued, which might explain the new look of it. I know that it has not been reblued in the past 15 years or so cuz I know where it has been for 15 years, and I have had it for 5 or 6 of those years.
They also said that the grips were buffalo horn rather than aged pearl.
I have no idea what all of it means, but I will be happy if I can get enough cash out of it so that I can buy a new pistol for me to play wit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
I am leaning towards getting a .22 rim fire pistol, since the shells are so inexpensive compared to .38's and .45's
If anyone has a .22 rim fire or a .25 and wants to trade for this pistol, hit me up wit a PM or if you would like to buy it or something hit me up wit an offer
I'll check it out...get a ruger mark III .22, those things are so fun to shoot. cheap, reliable, overall great guns.

My dad wants me to have a gun for some reason, so no problems there, since he hasn't killed anyone recently //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifThat cool...but you have to be 21 for a handgun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
