Pioneer with "Organic EL display"

Well, this is a different one (i think) then the one that died, so im sure it will be fine. Its just I cant find anything else with that kinda display for about the same price.

I bought the deh-7800 with the oel display and i've been quite stoked with it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif it doesn't have the higher end eq in it, which is about the only drawback. The pics for the OEL don't do it justice tho, the screen just plain kicks ***!

450 is the MSRP but it can be had online for ~300.

id either go witch the 880 or the DEH-P780MP both units are very nice, and can be had for a little over 300 brand new on ebay. i chose the 780 because i prefered the looks, and didnt plan on going active any time soon. it looks very nice too btw. cant wait to hook it up tommorow

I have a 7700mp (last years model, kinda looks like yours, the adpted the looks from the 7700 to the 6800 it looks like to me)

Long story short, ive 3 of them go bad.

Rca's just give out after a while, ive read quite a few people have had these problems with newer pioneer decks, and ive read that a nice solid ground could help solve the problem....But after my 2nd one went, i ran a dedicated 8g ground for the deck alone, to the common ground point up front, and it still happened again.

I just picked up a $100 panisonic mp3 unit just so i have something to compete with

iv got the deck and i love it great sound only problem i have is lately it hasnt been wanting to give me cd's but i think its just dirty.
