I have the 3004's and my little bro has kicker l7s. I think they get pretty much equally loud. The pioneers def have better sound quality though. Mine see 50rms more per sub and theyre about same loudness as my brothers L7s (I do own a lexus w/ a hardcore soundproofed trunk too tho).

that was what i was thinking as well...mono e mono the kicker would win...but two on one i think the tsw's will win...

i heard a l7 a while ago and have the tsw's now but haven't heard them side by side...i like my tsw's better then that l7 iirc

funny you mentioned this...

before i bought my tsw's, i did a search on here and SD, most of the people who have actually heard the tsw and r said they liked the tsw's better...so thats why i went with the tsw's...

i would definitely love to hear the r and tsw side by side with the amp or something...

what the **** is with you type-r people. They are not the greatest sub in the world. The 3004/2 SPL will dominate the R in both output and SQ.

The type r boner was the worst thing ever.

Go for the 3004 SPLs. I'd do it to be different, and have better SQ.
