Which is better for addition of "punch" bass to a hi end system?

The car is MINI and the it will be installed in the built-in 6x9 placement on the back sides.

The pioneer is in good price. Should I add more for the ALPINE or CDT?

The CDT 6x9s are 3.5" deep, and according to the Metra fitment guide you have 3.5" of mounting depth. They will need a good amplifier to get the best punch to the bass. 100W x2 will be great. They use silk dome tweeters for smooth sound on the midrange and treble. You'll also need to do sound deadening, of course.
