What exactly is the difference....other than the dustcap? Impedance?

the coil in the 5102 is 6 layer the 5000 is 4 layer,mine has a thicker heavier dustcap so that means the coil in mine is heavier and the dustcaf is too which means the t/s specs are different.and are rated for more power.also the one i have is blown,i want a blown one so i can recone a matching pair

I like this sub because I had a pair of TS-W2000SPLs when they first came out and I banged out 148.8dB in a 94 VW Golf with just one Crossfire CFA1000D, **** was loud as hell to my ears so the 5000SPLs have to be beasts.

for the most part people dont look at pioneer as having bad *** subs but boy oh boy i want this but no monies. was that score back in the day? i have a 03 tiburon im looking to get loud lol
