yay. finally got my new box together. but now it dims like crazy. im going to need a second battery. also, my stock alt is only 65 amps.

Do yourself a favor and make a new box that's at least 2.0 cubic feet and tuned lower with more port. For daily driving, 2.2 - 2.6 @ 30 - 34 hz.

Pioneer's recommended boxes **** balls.

I have that same exact sub in a 2.25@32hz on a mpr1000 and i does get decent loud and low for an budget sub

i had it in a 2. cu box at 32hz and it sounded like ***.

unless someone has some tl scores or a video i think ill keep this one. and i really put a lot into this box unlike my last one. the final for that was 1.59 cu @ 35hz (before sub displacement)

also, im not giving it the full 1000 rms, its wired to 2 ohms and my sub does 725 at 2 ohms.
